Performance

What is CJ MotorSports Performance? CJ MotorSports entered the Ski-doo performance world back in 2000. As a platinum Ski-Doo dealer we saw a void in performance products for the Ski-Doo enthusiast who wanted more from their Ski-Doo Sled. We were installing all sorts of performance products from manufactures for our clientele. Most of them didn’t work and in many cases decreased the performance of our customer sleds. Really disappointing! So we decided to see what we could do with an emphasis on performance for today’s manufactured Ski-Doo snowmobiles. In the fall of 2005 we were in contact with Bender racing who was working on Turbo charging the newly released mach Z. We were very interested in working with Bender racing on their Turbo charged Ski-Doo as they were the leaders in their field turbo charging Yamaha’s. We were invited to New International Drag strip as they were going to make a few test passes. We inspected the sled and were amazed at the quality of work. We were given a complete breakdown of the turbo charged mach Z by Justin Fuller who at that time was the brains behind the turbo charged Mach Z. We watched the sled make a few quarter mile passes and asked Bender racing to contact us once the Mach Z Turbo kit was to be released. We never heard another thing from Bender Racing on this project. We then ventured into the Big Bore 860cc program to enhance the series III 800 twin. We dyno tested this trail able twin at Dyno Tech in Batavia New York [dynotechresearch.com]. After posting strong numbers @ 175HP and 120 lbs of torque Jim Sacalla thought it would be in our best interest to run our 860 REV in the Adirondack Shootout in early December. We did and received the quiet giant award for our entrée. In spring of 2008 BRP released their prototype 1200 2 stroker. We fortunately with our connections to the Racing Department in Valcourt were able to purchase one of the prototypes. We had met the brains behind the Turbo charged systems of Bender Racing Justin Fuller who was now on his own as Full Power Performance. We met with Justin and decided to work together developing BRP performance products.
